Improve your fluency, level and independence in English

Course objectives:

  • Interact confidently with others during your everyday exchanges in French.

  • Express yourself clearly and effectively in various situations adapted to your life and your needs, such as spontaneous meetings, traveling and writing emails and letters

  • Gain confidence to use French in your daily life. For example: public speaking, attending dinner parties or interacting with friends and tourists in French.

  • Continue learning and progress in French independently after the course.

The beneficiaries of this training, during the first interview with James, communicated to him the following obstacles:

  • “I get stuck when I have to express myself in English”

  • “I have to speak English when I travel, but I have difficulty learning on my own”

  • “I don’t have time but I really want to learn”

With this intensive American English training, you will be able to converse in English with improved ease and increased confidence. Whatever your initial level, this training is designed to help you progress quickly.

After all, you've already learned at least one language - there's nothing stopping you from learning others!

How many courses? What is my level?

Based on my 13 years of experience and feedback from my students, I have created a curriculum for learning French, structured into 21 modules rigorously designed to correspond to the different European CEFR levels, from A1 (beginner) to C1 (advanced).

The goal is to put you on a flexible learning path, and you can complete one or more modules during your course. Each module includes 12 individual lessons.

Depending on your availability and your frequency of your lessons, a module can be completed in 12 weeks, 6 weeks or even in an intensive 2-week format. You can also complete several modules in a single course. You choose your own path and pace!

  • How can I complete several modules in one training?
There are 5 levels of language proficiency. Each level includes modules, and you can complete 1, 2 or 3 modules in a single training. When you start your courses, you will be assigned a starting level and module. For example, B1.8 (level B1, module 8). With James, you establish the level and module you want to achieve at the end of the training. Each module includes 12 lessons of 50 minutes + additional activities. Here are some examples of possible training:
  • When can I start?
If you take care of the courses or training yourself, you can start right away! In the case of CPF financing, you can start two weeks after registering on the government website. Please make an appointment with James to arrange the start of your lessons!
